"The Rats in the Walls"

From 1972, here is Richard Corben's decent adaptation of the HP Lovecraft story. When I first read "The Rats in the Walls," I was just a bit too young to really get it and the story sort of slid past me. But now I think I see what Lovecraft was trying to do and I appreciate it more.

Too bad about the cat's name, of course. Here it has been cleaned up a bit, but still.... Ick. Of course, it is not a significant part of the story and although it gets mentioned whenever Lovecraft's racist attitudes are discussed, the story really is more interesting than that detail.
